A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Compliance and Claims Officer to join our Business Growth Hub team within The Growth Company to manage the Programme Compliance team across for the Skills for Growth contracts to ensure contractual compliance, maximisingoutcomes and funding.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To keep up to date with all guidance & information from GMCA/ ESF and update GC procedure guides accordingly and disseminates the information to supply chain
- Undertake effective review and monitoring arrangements to ensure all providers have robust controls measures in place which meet contractual requirements
- To coordinate all aspects of quality assurance and contractual compliance across the contract
- Overall planning and coordination of audits, monthly and quarterly reports to the Supply Chain and Internal management team
- Administer and manage Skills for Growth CRM and claim system, ensuring smooth operation of the data flow.
- On a weekly basis, sample evidence records to ensure the accuracy of data and supporting evidence for claims, reporting back to skills coaches and Team Leaders on outcomes and action required
- Produce and manage development plans that drive up the quality of action plans, and the quality of delivery, and liaise with Skills Coaches, Team Leaders and the Programme Lead on their implementation
- Ensure systems are in place for the effective management of data security
- Work with the IT department security lead and the Quality and Compliance Manager to establish, implement and report on audit arrangements to improve the security of data and systems to protect customer data, using systems surveys and on-site audit visits,and reporting back on outcomes to line manager
- Work with the Quality and Compliance Manager and the Programme Lead and to develop and implement procedures and policies in line with ISO standards
- Work with the MI Team and providers to reduce data inputting errors, analysing reports to measure improvement rates and producing reports to line manager on outcomes
- Increase provider outcomes and thereby claims to the GMCA by ensuring providers are meeting evidence requirements to comply with the contractual 'Funding Rules’ reporting back to line manager on outcomes
- Regularly sample provider evidence records on Basil and Skills for Growth Portal to ensure accuracy of data & supporting evidence for claims, reporting back to line manager on outcomes

**About You**
- Experience of working on ESF contracts and high levels of quality and compliance within contract delivery
- Providing effective high-level support within busy team environment
- Use of IT systems at intermediate/ advanced level
- Undertaking audit and compliance checks to ensure contractual requirements
- Good knowledge of ESF contractual requirements, business rules and funding rules
- Excellent knowledge of Information Security requirements
- Good understanding of the relevant public environment
- Strong sense of personal responsibility

**Skills Required**:

- Excellent communication and administrative skills
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to convert analysis to reports
- Ability to network and develop positive working relationships with managers and key staff internal and external. Ability to work flexibly, multitask and to manage own workload to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new initiatives
- Experience of using and managing a CRM / Claims system
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft office systems, web-based products and bespoke GC systems
- Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills
