R B Tree and Landscapes are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader at our Tow Law depot to work in the North East within a commercial and residential industry.

We pride ourselves in our standards and the quality of service we provide to our clients.

You will report to the Management Team and will be responsible for a small crew working within that team to provide grounds maintenance for a variety of contract specifications, customer requirements and our own Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental procedures, statutory requirements and industry best practice.
- To deliver a high quality of workmanship covering all aspects of grounds maintenance on sites including, but not exhaustive, of grass cutting, hedge cutting, weed control, pruning, litter collection
- Provide a responsive and professional service to customers, dealing promptly with any issues arising and escalating immediately to the Operations Supervisor
- Carry out all work in accordance with Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures, as well as contract specific plans and job sheets, completion of daily risk assessments
- Proactively report any deficiencies in plant equipment or damaged infrastructure to the Operations Supervisor immediately
- Carry out duties accordingly in a style that reflects the business values and be respectful of colleagues and customers

Skills/Experience
- We require a Team Leader who is flexible in their approach as travel will be to and from various locations and start/finish times may vary
- Full driving licence - a driving licence is essential due to location of depot and job requirement
- B+E Trailer licence (preferred but not essential)
- Leadership skills
- Good knowledge and experience of grounds maintenance
- Ability to use a variety of machinery and tools, including lawn mowers, strimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, however, some training will be given
- PA1 & PA6 desirable
- Experience of working independently and part of a team
- Self motivated and driven to develop
- Capable of working on initiative and attention to detail
- Customer service skills
- Capable of completing relevant daily paperwork

Starting salary £11.00 per hour

Uniform and PPE provided
