Chef Regional Trainer

I am recruiting for a Regional Trainer to join the Apprenticeship team, supporting learners within the Hospitality sector.

**Who we are looking for?**
Previous experience in the Hospitality sector, back of house as a Chef or a Kitchen Manager, coupled with some experience front of house. Ideally, this will have come from working with major catering companies or pubs & restaurant chains, or from owning yourown catering business.

**What will you be doing?**
You will be responsible for supporting a caseload of learners who are currently studying Hospitality Apprenticeships and qualifications. Your role will be to provide support, guidance, assessment and monitoring throughout their apprenticeship. You will manageyour own diary and travel plans, working with learners throughout Reading and the surrounding areas.

**Key duties**:

- Delivering agreed targets.
- Identifying and engaging potential employers and enrolling learners onto government funded programmes
- The training, assessment, progression and completion of learners
- Effectively diary managing to ensure all learners within your caseload are fully supported
- Completing learners in a timely fashion.
- Ensuring leavers are processed within the correct time scales.

**The experience you'll bring**:

- Level 2 Maths & English.
- IT literate - familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Able to work effectively within a team, and on an individual basis.
- Self-motivated with a flexible approach and strong work ethic.
- CAVA Qualification & Award in Education and Training also desirable, but not essential, as full training will be given.
- Must have or have the ability to obtain enhanced DBS security clearance.
