Our client based near Fareham is looking to recruit a Facilities Supervisor.

**JOB PURPOSE**

Provision of all-round engineering support, maintaining the building infrastructure. To act as a co-ordination point for the day-to-day activities on site.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provision of all-round engineering support, maintaining the building infrastructure. Have a detailed understanding of all new or current Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings, and complying with the Health & Safety/buildingcodes of practice.
- To act as a co-ordination point for the day-to-day activities on site between the site team, specialist service partners and on-going project works.
- Responsible for ensuring that all activities within the building are undertaken with a professional and conscientious outlook with regards to the quality of work and Health & Safety.
- Ensure that there are excellent standards of response to plant failures and completion of assigned work and ensure any abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues are dealt with proficiently.
- Ensure that Specialist Service Provider worksheets are signed off, that quality of work is inspected and recommendations are escalated to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager.
- Take responsibility for escalating critical incidents and producing and submitting incident reports within the prescribed timescales in conjunction with both the Facilities and Maintenance Manager and the EH&S Manager.
- Ensure that plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are kept to the highest level of housekeeping.
- Responsible for the upkeep of trackers for the site on a daily/weekly basis which will be audited by the Facilities and Maintenance Manager on a monthly basis.
- To operate and trouble shoot all building systems.
- Comply with the Health & Safety Policy and observe all the safety rules to ensure your personnel safety and the safety of others.
- Ensure that you comply and adopt the CANDO(5S) programme regarding the organisation of your work environment.
