Based in London
An excellent opportunity to for a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary consultancy who have been operating across the UK for 60 year. The company undertake a diverse and exciting range of Engineering projects within the Aviation,Building, Highways & Transportation, Land Development, Rail and Water & Environment.

In this role you will undertake the role of Project Manager where required and prepare and own discipline designs, calculations, tender documentation and more.

The Role:

- Monitor quality of own discipline team work in accordance with good engineering practice, relevant standards, Codes of Practice, current design methods and Health & Safety legislation
*Check/ approve own discipline work, including third party design proposals, as identified in the Project Management Plan on assigned projects.
- Carry out other duties identified in the Project Management Plan on assigned projects
- Have a good understanding of all relevant standards, Codes of Practice, Health & Safety Legislation and current design methods and provide general technical support to own discipline team members
The Person:

- Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent time served expereince
- Ideally Chartered (ICE or similar)
- 3 years relevant experience minimum working on waste water projects
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with external consultants and internal colleagues
