**Working Hours**:8am - 5pm or 7am - 4pm

**Salary**:£25,000 - £30,000 negotiable

Founded in 1875, Nicholls & Clarke Group is a Manufacturer, Distributor and Retailer of Building Materials throughout the UK with a network of Retail and Distribution Centres. We have a committed team of over 400 people supplying Building Materials to thetrade and retail markets.

Our Fareham site specialises Glass and Double-Glazed sealed units. Nicholls and Clarke Glass one of the largest independent manufacturers in the UK, allowing us to offer career stability and progression.

**Offering a competitive rate of pay, a friendly working environment, excellent career prospects, and a secure position within an established company, we are looking for an enthusiastic office-based Production Planner to join our team in Fareham, Hampshire.**

**Role responsibilities - Production Planner**:

- Working and communicating with the Factory and Branch Managers to batch and plan production.
- Working closely with the order processing team to effectively and economically plan factory workloads to meet internal and customer lead times.
- Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage
- Use a rolling production plan to best future plan workloads, to optimize factory performance and maintain full and manageable productivity.
- Integral part of the office liaising with all teams to work cohesively to support a seamless customer experience.
- Understanding and continued knowledge growth in limitations and criteria the industry and company works to, to highlight any anomalies prior to production.
- Use of internal Computer systems, Lisec GPS. (full training to be provided) plus Microsoft suite of tools
- Display a can-do, hands-on approach and lead by example

**Requirements - Production Planner**:

- Able to work well within a production team environment.
- Computer literate (training will be given on the relevant software).
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- A strong team player with the ability to work well independently.
- Must have a flexible, and ‘can do’ attitude.
- Good attendance and reliability.
- Common Sense
- Previous experience not necessarily required.
