Atrium Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Pallet Truck Operative to join our team. As a Pallet Truck Operative, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a pallet truck to move and transport goods within our warehouse or distribution centre.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate a pallet truck to move and transport goods within the warehouse or distribution centre.
- Ensure that goods are stacked and secured properly on the pallets.
- Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure that the correct products are being moved.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that aisles are clear and free from obstructions.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while operating the pallet truck.
- Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions of the pallet truck to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Follow inventory control procedures to track and record goods movement accurately.
- Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience operating a pallet truck or similar equipment is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects (up to [weight limit]) and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime if required.
- Valid forklift license or certification is a plus.
