- **The Role**_

We have a vacancy for a Head of HR to lead the HR Strategy and People function at our Workington site. With overall responsibility for the HR function and its people, you will play an integral role in creating a sustainable future for our site, our community, and our customers.
- **Responsibilities**_

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, responsibilities include:
*Develop and deliver the overall HR strategy aligned to the business needs

*Preparing, controlling and meeting the agreed annual HR budget

*Advising the Management Team and maintaining excellence in:

- Succession planning
- Rewards and benefits including workplace pensions
- Talent Management
- Performance Review
- Salary review and benchmarking
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Leadership development

*Monitoring and reporting on critical KPIs

*Providing expert advice and ensure compliance with employment law and ACAS regulations

*Promoting the Company Brand to maintain positive standing in the local community

*Providing expert advice and ensuring the Company exceeds expected standards for Health, Wellbeing and Safety:

- Occupational Health
- Organisational compliance with the site legal register
- Fire Risk
- Business Continuity and site insurances
- **About You**_

We're looking for a true, credible, strategic HR Leader. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you'll provide the strategic direction for the HR function as well as supporting the Managing Director in critical decisions across the business. With the support of an HR Manager and HR Advisor, you'll collaborate across business functions in helping drive areas of development, performance, and engagement to achieve strategic goals. To be successful, you'll need a wealth of HR experience behind you and a wider appreciation of manufacturing/engineering.

Pay: £92,500.00-£112,500.00 per year
