A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established business, based in Ringwood Hampshire.
Salary - £27,000 - £29,000
Job type - Permanent (full-time)
Working Hours - Mon - Fri
**Key skills required for an Accounts Administrator**:
- Experience working in an Accounts related role. For example, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Admin.
- Experience with accounting platforms such as Xero is beneficial but is not essential as training will be provided.
- Good Admin skills
- Excellent communicator
- Excellent organisational skills
- Self-motivated and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Good telephone manner is essential
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Team player
**Key responsibilities for an Accounts Assistant**:
- Assist the Accounts Administrator with supplier invoice processing and reconciliation of the company accounts and credit cards and dealing with accounts queries.
- Processing of Supplier Invoices
- Petty cash
- Chasing overdue payments with the sales team
- booking of engineering jobs and validating completed jobs.
- Administration of Engineering Schedules
- Administration of Customer Contract base
- Gather quotes from suppliers
- Create deal registrations with suppliers and vendors
- Answering the phone.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by management staff
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
