**THE DIVISION**:
Our Restructuring team has enviable positions on all the major bank panels and benefits from excellent relationships with the restructuring and insolvency specialists at the market's leading accountancy firms and agents. With established Restructuring teams across the UK, the national team has 11 Partners and more than 33 specialist restructuring and insolvency lawyers. This dedicated resource (which few of our competitors can genuinely match) offers a full service across the entire spectrum of restructuring and insolvency assignments - in a broad range of sectors.

**TEAM AND ROLE**:
Our established team is Ranked Band 1 in Legal 500 and Chambers. As part of our continued growth strategy, we are hiring an NQ - 2yrs PQE Solicitor to work across both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters. You can be based in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow office to work closely with the Heads of Division and wider team.

You can expect to get involved in:

- Supporting the partners in connection with both financial restructuring and mixed contentious and non-contentious insolvency mandates.
- Working on transactional insolvency mandates, including advising in connection with CVA's, pre-packs and issues arising in connection with trading administrations, such as breach of directors' duties.
- Reviewing and advising cases for litigation funders.
- Reviewing and advising in relation to banking documentation in relation to preparing Security Reviews and dealing with amendments, side-letters, waivers and variations to existing security packages.
- Advising the major clearing banks and alternative lenders in connection with distressed work-outs.
- Advising directors in connection with their own obligations in the context of an under-performing business.
- Various Business Development activities, with a significant amount of client contact.

- Excellent attention to detail.
- Highly computer literate including confidence with MS Word, Excel and database management.

- You are qualified in Scots and/or English law.
