**Part-Time GP Receptionist**
**Wickham Park Surgery, West Wickham, Kent.**
8* hours per week:
Friday 9:30am - 5:30pm
*Although the job role is only for 8 hours a week which may suit some, regular cover for holiday and sickness will be available to take most weeks of the year and you will be expected to cover some of these shifts.
We are looking for a GP receptionist who is hardworking, reliable, and flexible, have good communication skills, a good telephone manner and who can work under pressure on their own and as part of a team.
The role will include answering calls, booking appointments, dealing with queries from patients and other healthcare services, opening post, scanning letters, requesting prescriptions and general office duties. The role will also include being responsible for opening and closing the surgery.
Previous experience working in the NHS is essential, GP receptionist experience preferable, Knowledge of EMIS and Docman preferable.
Pay increase after probationary period.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £10.60 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
