An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Administrator to join a great company based in Fareham, Hampshire who are a leading manufacturer of complex electronics equipment that are sold into the marine industry all over the world.
The primary responsibility of the Workshop Administrator is to provide administrative support for the service workshop function including service materials management, logistics,service repair, RMA warranty and associated administration.
The role includes communicating directly with customers, internally & externally, and working closely with the administration, logistics and repair team.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities for the Workshop Administrator:
Responsible for coordinating inbound & outbound shipments to/from the service repair workshop including warranty/non-warranty service repairs & RMA defective product warranty returns.
Material management operations include ordering new stock & maintain safety stock levels, maintaining accuracy of workshop inventory stock with periodic stock-counting, stock inventory location organisation, procurement of stock.
Supporting Logistics Material Controller/Planner.
Supporting Service Repair & Warranty administration, as required.
**Job Qualifications for Workshop Administrator**:
Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative role.
Position demands a conscientious initiative-taking person, who can work methodically & carefully, and handle customer-owned products respectfully.
Ability to work un supervised & work within an established team.
Ability to prioritise own time & workload.
Good organisational skills.
