**Trainee Accountant**

CMC Consulting are currently working with an exciting established practice, who are recruiting for a Trainee Accountant to join their collaborative and friendly team in a progressive and educational role.

Offering full study support, and working as a Trainee Accountant, this role will allow you to further study towards becoming a qualified accountant as well as gaining excellent exposure within a finance team, to give you great grounding for your future career

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation of month-end balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT Returns.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Preparation for statutory purposes
- Invoicing on behalf of clients
- Prepare management accounts
- Experience within an accountancy firm is preferable
- Highly personable with good communication skills to build working relationships with clients
- Full accounts preparation, Corporation Tax, VAT
- Personal tax preparation
- Use of Xero/Quickbooks, Iris and Sage 50 Accounts is highly desirable
- Competent use of Excel and Word
- Able to work to deadlines
- Qualifications/study - Ideally already studying for professional qualification
