_**Operations/Customer Coordinator / Manager - Self Storage / Retail - £27k to £30k + Benefits - Grays/Thurrock**_
A successful and expanding Self-Storage company is looking for an Operations Coordinator / Manager, to support the Manager with the expansion and overall running of the business. This would suit someone from a retail management background, or similar. Theyoffer highly secure offsite document and self-storage at competitive pricing in fire and waterproof containers, designed to not only protect documents or personal goods, but to provide an inexpensive secure solution in a notoriously expensive market.
The Operations Coordinator/Manager will be the main point of contact for all self-storage customers, as well as potential customers. This post will be supporting the Manager, being trained into a deputy for the manager and supporting him with the growthof the business. The role, whilst being mainly customer and customer sales coordinated, will be diverse in standing in for the office manager when they are away, supporting the Manager in the operations and growth of the company, ensuring that payments andinvoicing are up to date, administration and dealing with any problems that may arise.
This post is something that will grow and develop overtime, with support and training into various areas of the business and would be ideal for someone perhaps who has been a retail manager, or similar, wanting to look at a career path, who has strong communication,customer service, administrative and client development skills.
**SALARY ETC**:
- £27k to £30k circa + benefits
- Permanent, full-time
- 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Location: Grays / Thurrock _(you will need to be able to drive to work due to lack of public transport)_
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- To have held a similar role, perhaps as a retail / operations manager, or client services manager, or similar.
- Must be confident on the phone when dealing with questions and sales enquiries.
- Due to the location, you must be able to drive and have transport.
- Good administration skills and computer skills.
- A strong customer focus orientation, and able to deal with enquiry through to completion.
- Dealt with payments and related administration.
- Self-motivated and ability to multi-task, with good organisational & admin skills
- Experience with dealing with customers
- Professional confident manner when talking on the phone and face-to-face
**DUTIES TO INCLUDE**:
- To be the front line / main point of contact for customer enquiries, sales meetings and for any problems or questions.
- Quoting Self-Storage Customers and on-site visits with potential / existing customers
- New Customer set up (Payment, ID, Paperwork)
- Customer invoicing & Credit Control
- Office Cover for Archive Storage side of business.
- To work with the manager, in various project, including supporting with the new site and setting this up.
- Deputise for the Office Manager, and Manager in their absence
- To learn the whole of the operation, being able to deputise for the manager when they are away.
