**What you’ll be doing**
The IET Communities team works globally, in partnership with IET volunteers, to deliver a growing portfolio of activities both in-person and virtually. We provide members and non-members with opportunities to come together to network, learn and collaboratethrough more than 500 local, regional and global events every year.
As the Community Coordinator, you’ll be a key member of the team in supporting the delivery of the portfolio of local networks, events and specific projects. You will work collaboratively with volunteers and colleagues within the team and across Directoratesto maximise the impact of the activities we deliver.
**What we hope you can bring to the role**
You will be a motivated individual, always looking for ways to improve processes that support data collection, reporting, marketing, query resolution, volunteer onboarding, etc. You will be able to manage your own workload and priorities in line with roleresponsibilities and the team and wider organisational strategy.
The Community Coordinator would suit someone looking to grow a broad skillset and experience with volunteers, events planning and marketing, governance, whilst supporting engineers and technologists to come together to network, learn and collaborate.

**A little more about the role**
- Provide administrative support to governance boards such as Supporting the committee with volunteer communications, supporting with agenda, data gathering, reporting and updating records and tracking
- Administer the team inbox, being the first point of contact for enquiries, signposting as required, creating an efficient process for incoming mail, including responding, tracking and resolution
- Webinar and in person events support and set up, helping with webinar promotion in collaboration with marketing, responding to delegate queries and registration, review and post on social media, event feedback collation
- Working with, communicating with and supporting volunteers by ensuring access to IET standard toolkits, create discussions and debate on the EngX Communities online platform, support volunteer recruitment campaigns.
