**£45,000 to £55,000 + Benefits**

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our client's Pricing Team team, based near Burgess Hill. The role works on a flexible working basis of 1-2 days per week in the office and the rest from home.

The opportunity has arisen due to a new insurance product being introduced, and will focus on building new predictive models using linear / non-linear statistical techniques, as well as monitoring / maintaining and updating existing statistical models inthe business. You will also provide insight and analysis to the company in order to develop their competitive advantage.

**Responsibilities**
- Produce regular business analysis reports.
- Write new analysis code using SAS, R, and other software packages.
- Build predictive models using EMBLEM, R and other software packages.
- Ad-hoc project work providing analysis to the business.
- Monitor, maintain and update existing predictive models.
- Analyse business issues to find solutions to and make recommendations to improve profitability.
- Train and develop new or graduate Analysts.

**Requirements**:

- Numerate Graduate with minimum 2:1 degree.
- Pricing/Analytics experience gained in a Personal Lines insurance environment.
- Ideally, you will come from a Household/Home Insurance background, but other GI lines of business will be considered.
- Knowledge of SAS, Emblem or R is essential for the role.
- People and project management skills.
- Strong Modelling experience.
- Excellent communication (verbal & written) and influencing skills.
