Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Communicate with business stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Communicate with external partners and clients, discussing detailed technical implementations, and co-creating innovative solutions.
- Create systems that strictly adhere to security, data privacy, performance, and resilience standards.
- Ensure system architectures are robust, scalable, secure, and future-proofed.
- Define KPIs for the platform and deliver improvements that make a measurable impact on them.
- Lead development to identify technical options and inform architectural approaches, working with technical teams to write tests, code, and documentation for new and existing systems.
- Ensure solutions are delivered on time, meeting end user expectations.

Essential Skills:

- Ability to operate in a highly dynamic workplace, manage many projects efficiently, and perform under pressure.
- Ability to co-create, build and deliver on realistic project plans which take into account agreed scope, dependencies, assumptions, risks, and constraints.
- Able to identify and solve problems, with attention to detail.
- Commercially aware and able to focus on business targets.

Preferential Knowledge:

- Know how to create world-class technical solutions.
- A strong understanding of mobile technology and current trends.
- Knowledge of AWS technical stack.
- Strong understanding of the full SDLC.

Preferential Experience:

- Highly experienced in working with digital technology, preferably around PHP.
- Experience as a Technical Architect in a commercial environment.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced, agile product development team.
- Experience designing and building distributed systems and microservice architecture.

£70,000 - £80,000 + Performance related company bonus scheme.
