Gambit Search have partnered with an impressive Insolvency and Restructuring firm with the hire of an Insolvency Professional at Administrator level to join their team in their London office.

This is a highly desirable role for someone with 1+ years' experience within the insolvency industry that has an interest in progressing their career.

The business has a great culture and is known for developing careers. A competitive salary is offered, along with hybrid working opportunities and study support if desired.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing a caseload of mainly Liquidations from inception through to closure. You will also work on Administrations with support from seniors.
- Preparing all pre-appointment documentation including decision procedure notices, SIP6 reports and Statement of Affairs.
- Liaising with Directors throughout the process to obtain the necessary information
- Dealing with creditor correspondence and claims including trade creditors, HMRC and banks
- Monitoring case diaries and completing statutory work in a timely manner.
- Reviewing books and records
- Handling employee redundancies and claims
- Performing asset realisations
- Dealing with agents and solicitors instructed where necessary

What you'll need to succeed:

- Good knowledge of corporate insolvency processes from cradle-to-grave
- The ability to prioritise and organise
- IPS experience is desirable but not essential
