We are seeking a
**Senior Content Specialist** with a passion for brand, content and creative for marketing communications to work within ParentPay Group’s new multimedia creative team based in Bristol.

The role holder will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering effective content / copy and creative media and tools to support ParentPay Group’s business acquisition, customer engagement and retention strategies - achieving high standards within agreed timelines and budgets.

This role will report into the Creative Studio Manager.

**Key responsibilities**
- to collaborate closely with key stakeholders, in particular other Creative Studio members, shared Marketing services teams (Digital marketing, PR) and the Heads of the brands to understand business objectives and plan, manage and deliver content and creative for marketing communications to support these effectively
- to have the ability to effectively and clearly explain how ParentPay Group’s education software solutions make life easier / add value, driving adoption, switching and retention across our messaging suite
- to enrich and deliver in-depth content that educates (e.g. white papers, infographics, case studies, blogs) and powerful copy that engages and activates (e.g. landing pages, ads) our target audiences effectively using plain English communications
- to manage creative production projects from brief through concept ideation to delivery, across traditional media platforms and to support the digital team as required
- to maintain a high level of professionalism, service and attention to detail, ensuring all outputs are excellent quality, on-brand/message, accurate, timely and on budget
- to have the ability to clearly explain the “why” behind the work and convincingly present creative concepts to all stakeholders
- to support positioning of the Creative Studio as a recognised centre of creative and publishing expertise and excellence within the Marketing team and Group
- to champion brand guidelines internally across the Group and externally with agencies, to ensure that all customer facing communications are consistent and clearly convey our brand values
- to collaborate with external agencies and suppliers as directed by the Creative Studio Manager
- to regularly and effectively report on progress of in-house (and if applicable) 3rd party creative projects to relevant stakeholders
- as the creative studio becomes established and resource demands are understood, to potentially line manage a Content Specialist, providing guidance in concept creation and achieving high standards through hands-on coaching, mentoring and approval

**Key experience and skillsets**
- educated to degree standard or equivalent working experience
- marketing communications content / creative campaign experience, either in an internal marketing services function and/or a creative agency
- strong copywriting / editorial skills and impeccable proofreading skills
- competency in Adobe Creative Cloud apps (premiere, after affects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and / or other relevant design platforms
- strong creativity, with a good understanding of brand, content and design principles (including elements such as balance, typography, colour)
- experience using the full Microsoft Office suite of solutions (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- general IT knowledge e.g. file compression, PDF’s, fonts and operating system
- experience working with external agencies and suppliers, multimedia content creators, designers, graphic designers, photographers and videographers
- excellent planning, organisational and project management skills
- ability to multi-task
- ability to pick up new technologies quickly and easily and willingness to self-learn
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- meticulous attention to detail, with a strong eye for accuracy
