AWS Cloud Engineer required to work remotely by Innovative Software Company. We are looking for someone with experience working on AWS infrastructure in a DevOps capacity, to work on and improve their cloud backend capabilities.

Responsibilities will include:

- Be responsible for the planning, implementation, and growth of the AWS cloud infrastructure
- Build, release, and manage the configuration of all production and staging cloud systems
- Support a continuous integration and deployment methodology for cloud-based technologies
- Work alongside architecture and engineering teams to design and implement scalable and resilient software services
- Ensure necessary system security by using best in class cloud security solutions
- Stay current with new technology options and vendor products, evaluating which ones would be a good fit for the company
- Recommend process and architecture improvements
- Oversee pre-production acceptance testing to ensure the high quality of a company's services and products

We are looking for someone who **must** have experience with:

- AWS Certification
- Experience with serverless, cloud-native architecture at a senior level - API Gateway, Lambda Cognito, Dynamo, AppSync etc. as well as containerised services (Docker/ K8s) and EC2.
- Experience of data and video streaming across Kinesis - this is a core requirement
- Experience with test automation
- Experience with or a desire to help with building BI dashboards for things like infrastructure health, process latency etc.

It is not essential but desirable to also have:
Experience in ML pipelines/ Apache Spark / Glue etc; Java and Python coding experience.
