You’ll be working in the PR team and part of an agency where your skills and understanding of the media will help us gain digital coverage and links for our client portfolio.

You will be responsible for the execution of PR campaigns, gaining media coverage for our clients through a mixture of campaign, always-on and reactive PR methods. You’ll be a natural storyteller, understanding how we can create innovative PR concepts to gain coverage and links back to our clients that exceeds their expectations.

Our client mix covers a wide portfolio of brands across B2B and B2C sectors, with a focus on integrating multiple channels including SEO, social media, content, and web development.

This role is ideal for anyone who is starting out in the industry and wants to turn their creative thinking and media knowledge into strategic PR capabilities. You’ll be working with the team to devise and manage campaigns and help to grow the agency’s client base, across our Manchester and Leeds offices.

**Your day to day**

As part of our Create + Activate proposition, a PR Executive would assist the rest of the PR team and in executing campaigns and reactive work. This role entails much more than media relations and press outreach - you will also be responsible for data collection, trend analysis, crafting briefs, devising communication strategies and brainstorming creative ideas.

If you don’t have much experience, don’t fret - our onboarding process provides extensive training in digital PR, SEO and data and trend analysis - and everything else you would need to flourish in this role.

As part of your role, you will:

- Achieve high-quality and relevant backlinks and media coverage for our respective clients
- Write press releases and media pitches
- Develop relationships with journalists and key media stakeholders in order to provide press opportunities for our clients
- Assist with campaign conception and brainstorming for campaign and reactive ideas for our clients
- Create bespoke media lists for our client sectors and individual campaigns
- Actively scour the news, social media and media landscapes for trends, insight and any opportunities we can react to for our clients
- Help collate and analyse data to create insightful angles and press hooks for our campaigns
- Report on coverage and links earned, and the further impact of our activity across the media
- Liaise with Copywriters, our creative and data teams and SEO experts
- Work with our Client Service team to ensure client satisfaction
- Stay up to date with the latest media and PR trends, updates and best practices, attend industry events (for example, we attend BrightonSEO and Women in Tech SEO Festival regularly)
- Receive internal and external training and upskilling across a variety of topics, from tech SEO to presentation skills, site migrations and copywriting principles.
- Fantastic communicator, with confidence in liaising with journalists, internal teams and clients
- Have a great general knowledge of current affairs and pop culture
- Collaborative and a fast learner
- Excellent at time management and prioritisation of tasks
- High-quality writing ability
- Able to adapt and work quickly (e.g. on reactive opportunities) but maintain a high standard of quality
- You keep up with current trends and social media platforms - such as TikTok, BeReal etc.
- Prior knowledge of SEO and search desired, but not essential.

**Your rewards**

As well as a competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience, you will receive:
