£ competitive day rate (outside IR35)
Greater Manchester**
**Who you'll be working for**:
Our client is a FTSE 250 company with sites across the UK.
They have a number of high profile technology projects in the pipeline and require interim support from a seasoned IT Procurement professional, likely to be on a 6 month basis.
This interim contract falls outside IR35 and there is the option to work from both home and modern offices in Greater Manchester.
**What the role will involve**:
- Leading specific IT / Technology related procurement projects for the business
- Leading tendering activity and negotiations with a range of IT service providers
- Delivering cost savings on high value, complex contracts
- Managing risk in relation to procurement and supplier activity
- Building strong stakeholder relationships and deliver commercial solutions to business needs
**What you will ideally bring**:
- Significant IT / technology procurement experience in a senior role
- Proven track record of meeting cost savings across a range of IT categories
- Experience leading tendering and negotiations for complex IT agreements
- Ability to manage large scale, high profile projects
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
6 month interim contract to start ASAP
