Qc Inspector

My client is a well
- established sub-contract engineering company who supply precision engineered products to the oil & gas industry. Due to continued expansion, they have a new vacancy for a Quality Control Inspector.

Reporting to the QC Supervisor, your duties will include:

- inspection of machined items from the manufacturing department
- inspection and verification of bought-in components from external suppliers
- produce relevant inspection and quality control documentation
- read and understand customer engineering drawings
- control and segregation of defective items
- raise and maintain defect reports
- undertake first-off inspections
- CMM checking of parts
- NDE checking of parts

Applicants must be a time-served craftsperson with proven experience in a machine shop engineering environment. Good knowledge of the oil & gas industry is also desirable. Applicants must be prepared to work both day and night shift on a 2 weekly rotating basis.

**Salary**: Up to £39,000.00 per hour
