**SALARY £22K to £28K**

**Job Role**:
**Job Tasks**:

- Daily usage of financial processes, enhancing and updating where needed
- Management of sales ledger
- Maintaining accounts, verifying and posting transactions
- Balancing accounts on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis
- Managing purchase payments
- Credit control and submitting reports regarding receivables as required
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and banking contacts
- Managing & filing relevant documentation
- Ensure the completion of bank reconciliations
- Inventory management, organise quarterly stock take and produce stock analysis and support colleagues to clear ageing stock
- Sales performance analysis and reporting
- Assisting the audit process and liaising with external personnel
- Cash flow reports
- Previous accounts/sales ledger experience
- Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
- Strong bookkeeping skills and previous experience in a similar role
- Solid organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communicator, with both internal and external colleagues at all levels
- Highly computer literate with experience of accounting packages, ideally SAP
- Possess relevant NVQ/SVQ qualifications or specialist qualifications such as AAT/ACCA/CIMA
- Knowledge of Excel or other spreadsheets
