Alecto Recruitment are currently working with a Large Power Generation Company, who are looking to expand their Engineering Team.

We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer with Power Generation Experience to work on a Monday to Friday basis based on a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Facility in Hertfordshire.

**Job Brief**

To support the Engineering Team with all Operational Electrical Engineering.

During this role, you will be required to;
- Hands-On Heavy Industrial Work.
- Working on 11kv switchgear motors and distribution system
- Provide advice and expertise on the current running of the plant when requested.
- Comply with all health and safety to the highest standard.
- Monitor performance and standards on shift.
- Assist Management and Supervisors with plant running.
- Carry out preventative, responsive and pre-planned maintenance.
- Complete work on Controls Systems and PLC's.
- Use CMMS Systems to comply with existing site procedures.

**Requirements**:

- MUST hold either 17th or 18th Edition.
- Ideally hold a HNC, Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Should have completed an Apprenticeship within Engineering.
- Proven experience within Heavy Industrial Engineering.
- Experience within a Waste, Recycling, Power or Process plant Facility.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and Controls Systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

**Package Details**
- Salary is around £45,000 a year.
- This role is worked on a Monday to Friday.
- Overtime available.
- This opportunity comes with a vast amount of training and a clear progression route within the company.

- This role would suit an experienced person with experience within any Heavy Industry environment.
