**What are we looking for?**
Shack Events are looking for a passionate individual to take on the role of Event Operations Supervisor for our ambitious Venue concessions business. You will be supporting the Event Operations Manager in planning & delivering our set up and operation of the events, focusing on quality, and consistency, never compromising on our core values and ethos.
**Who are we looking for?**
Personality is key for us, and you must be able to thrive in high-pressure and fast-paced situations whilst maintaining a smile and sense of humour, this is one of our founding principles. You will need to be very process-driven and have a very organised and structured approach to managing the various projects and tasks.
You must have strong leadership skills, high attention to detail, be able to problem solve under pressure and be extremely diligent. Passion and determination are at the core of how we operate so the individual will need to share our enthusiasm & dedication.
The job entails a physically challenging side, with heavy lifting and long days on your feet common. This is alongside an administrative side which will require some knowledge of Microsoft Excel, planning schedules as well as logístical thinking. You will be required to plan changes on site, thinking efficiently and strategically, whilst working within a payroll budget.
**Who will you be working with?**
You will report directly to our Event Operations Manager whilst working closely alongside our Account Project Managers (APM) to aid them in delivering the events they plan to the highest level.
You will be required to work weekends and over holidays. During peak season there is a limited ability for any extended time off. This runs from May - August.
**Where will you be working?**
You will be based at our London sites. However you will also be required to work at our sites outside of London during peak season and for training.
**What are your core responsibilities?**
**Set Up/Break Down Days**:
- Assisting in the planning of the set up and delivery of events - helping to plan the team and allocating the right team members and their respective skillsets & knowledge across the range of jobs to be completed.
- Creating planning documents and keeping them up to date so the wider team are aware of set up progression.
- Managing, leading and motivating a team of 12+ on site, ensuring they are working efficiently and to a high standard and that site rules are always being followed.
- Growing and developing the team of Event Ops Crew using training resources, helping the staffing team to track individual’s progression and ensuring due diligence is being adhered to.
- Take responsibility for final checks on bar units and equipment before event day, particularly of cooling equipment.
**Event Day**:
- Supporting the APM onsite and helping to maintain a smooth-running event day.
- Briefing your team of Event Ops Crew members.
- Ensure all product distribution is done in time and organised. Overseeing and planning what team members are responsible for what, making sure the right stock is going to the right places and that all timings are kept to.
- Mid-service stock management - establish and communicate an overview of where all spare stock is, and making sure all bars always have sufficient stock (or are in the process of receiving it).
- Working closely with the APM and staffing team to ensure bar processes and systems are in place and being followed correctly.
**Stock & Kit Management**:
- Taking ownership of all stock on site, updating stock tracker documents, maintain storage areas and stock levels and ensuring distribution of stock is managed efficiently.
- Maintain kit, making sure it is used properly and safely and reporting any damage to management.
- Work with the Shack Events logistics team to ensure all shipments and purchase orders are tracked on system accurately and handled safely and efficiently as they arrive/leave.

- Hours: 48 hours per week (Yearly average)
