**The Role**
CSG has many ongoing and pipeline business change and improvement initiatives that aim to contribute to delivering CSG’s vision “to become the recognised global leader in education and public sector procurement services”.
Due to rapid growth and development, the Group has multiple strategic and complex; people, technology, infrastructure and commercial initiatives being executed at any one time.
**As such, CSG is looking to hire an experienced contractor ERP (incl. warehouse management system) Project Manager Project Manager to join the organisation to support the delivery of one of its trading division’s digital transformation strategy andreset the business’ digital core.**
The project is currently in the requirements gathering phase and is being managed as a Waterfall project until the preferred vendor is selected and approval is received to go into implementation / mobilisation.
**Key Duties**
- Establishment of project governance and controls in accordance with the group’s business improvement framework
- Stakeholder management at all levels within the business and wider group
- Development of a plan for delivery - delivery methodology to be discussed with and approved by the Project Steering Group (must be fit for purpose for the business)
- Resource planning - internal and third party vendors
- Support the Project Senior Management Team to deliver effective change management in accordance with the following four key principles of change management: understand the change, plan for the change, implement the change and communicate the change withinthe business
- Managing project risks and issues in accordance with the group’s business improvement framework
- Managing the approved project budget in accordance with the company’s signing authority matrix
- Direct and support the Business Analyst in their approach to capture as-is processes, requirements gather and develop to-be processes
- Collaborate with key stakeholders for vendor selection
- Develop an investment Business Case for approval within the group’s guidance and protocols
**What we need from you**
- Proven working experience of managing and leading ERP / warehouse management system implementation projects
- Proven ability to plan ERP / warehouse management work-packages, building delivery backlogs, progress monitoring including budget control and milestone control, issue and risk management
- Strong experience in dealing with senior business users, determining delivery scope and priorities as well as resolving issues
- Good understanding and knowledge of Project Management, Change Management processes and styles
- Foundational understanding of Systems Integration, Systems Development Life Cycle Methodologies, Quality Assurance and Testing, Requirements Gathering, and Systems Analysis/Design
- Experience of coordinating and managing internal and external resources (proven matrix management capability)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to engage with various audiences to explain technical and professional matters in a way that is clear and fully understood by all
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Good Project Management skills including Estimating, Scope Management, Budget Management, Work-package Planning, Time Management, Risk Management, Change Management, Issue/Conflict Resolution, Communication Management, Quality Management, Testing Plans,Training Plans, Team Management
