Interim Financial Controller/Finance Director

Based: Manchester City Centre

Our client are a rapidly expanding business based in the heart of Manchester. They have grown to £30m in the last 3 years looking to continue to grow to £100m in the next 3 years through investment and acquisition. The role will report to the CFO and ownerand offer unrivalled exposure across the business. We are looking for a qualified, dynamic and adaptable Financial Controller/Finance Director to join them on an interim basis, working with the CFO to implement processes and assist with the PE sale.
- Implementing processes, procedures and streamlining finance
- Suggestions on new ERP/accounts systems and implementation in future
- Leading on due diligence and analysis for future acquisitions
- Variance and financial analysis, budgeting, cash flow forecasting
- Providing financial recommendations to management, relaying information in senior management meetings
- Recruiting and developing the finance team
- Financial reporting - producing monthly management accounts ensuring robust processes are in place
- Delivery of KPI's within the management reporting to assist with decision making
- Delivering budgets and forecasts for senior management
- Cash flow, detailed cash flow reports and providing information to external sources (banks, investors)
- Leading and managing annual audit process, first POC for all audit queries and ensuring all statutory accounts and filed correctly
- Working with the wider business and other 'Head of' departments from a strategic capacity
- Supporting CFO & CEO with ad hoc project work

**Experience**:

- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified Accountant
- Strong, proven experience in process implementation and change
- ERP implementation knowledge highly desirable
- Adaptable, hands on and able to communicate across all levels of business including external advisors
- Proven experience within a rapidly expanding SME business desirable
