Lead Endoscopy Practitioner | Salary dependant on experience | Full time hours - no over nights or Sundays working | Horley Spire Gatwick Park is looking for a highly motivated and experienced OPD or Nurse to join and lead our high performing EndoscopyTeam. This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's leading private hospitals and take your career to the next level. Spire Gatwick Park Hospital is just a few miles away from Gatwick Airport. Central London and Victoria station are a 30 minute train rideaway. The Hospital consists of two outpatient areas and a Bupa Health Assessment centre. There are two ward areas with 29 single rooms, a two bedded emergency recovery unit with a sixteen bedded day care unit, and five single rooms. There are three operatingtheatres, two with laminar flow. Duties and responsibilities As Endoscopy Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and leading a team of 5 practitioners. Your duties will include but not be limited to: Assist in the deliveryof Consultant led endoscopic procedures that vary in complexity. Develop care plans that are appropriate to the patient, taking into consideration the care pathway, pre-procedure risks and their wellbeing. Undertake tasks related to the individuals health,wellbeing, and respond, and escalate if necessary. Establish and maintain a positive professional relationship with the service users and ensure good practice of communication. Contribute to the implementation and improvement of the service. Have competentskills in the use of EWDs, decontamination, storage and transportation of endoscopes.
