White Horse Employment are delighted to be working with a large international business who are looking continue to grow the company with some exciting new products coming available.

They're looking at an experienced Quality Control specialist to join the team and assist their Laboratory Team at their Frome site.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

- Ensuring that all stock is rotated correctly, conduct stock-takes and notify the lab management when there is a need to order more stock
- Carrying out all tests within both the Chemistry and Microbiology labs
- Working safely regarding personal safety and the safety of colleagues and others
- Carrying out environmental and plant hygiene swabs
- Collating all out of spec’ results on the daily exception report and circulate to the designated list
- Conduct internal audits to given schedule
- Dispose of waste in a safe manner and observe environmental safety.
- Competent with use of lab database LIMs
- Ability to work unsupervised and within an agreed work schedule
- Ability to use positive release systems for product ingredients and finished products
- Able to prioritise and be audited while carrying out tasks within the lab
- 12 months lab experience working within either a chemistry or micro laboratory is ideal
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management

This is a permanent full time role, due to the urgency of the role ideally we would like someone to start as soon as possible.

**Salary**: £23,200 - £24,766 p/a
