HR Manager Responsibilities:

- Provide timely and accurate advice to managers and employees with regard to company policy to support the effective management of employees
- Providing coaching to line managers on the interpretation of Company policy providing best practice, commercial solutions.
- Proactive management of sickness/absence cases, flagging proactively up to Senior HRM absence cases.
- Coordination of new starters: support managers with interviews and create job offer obtaining all relevant information.
- Manage maternity, paternity and flex working cases. Walk through policy and prepare letters confirming entitlement
- To be responsible for the effective on-boarding and orientation of all new starters excluding placement students.
- Deliver company induction and prepare induction packs.
- To provide project support to the Senior HR Managers to ensure the effective implementation of HR initiatives in the UK

HR Manager Skills:

- Educated to CIPD level 7 or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of UK employment law
- Proven background as a HR generalist covering the employee life-cycle
- Previous experience in a complex business set up is ideal
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to be able to communicate with different levels of personnel, building relationships

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy working environment. This is a hybrid role working in central Basingstoke offices.
