Do you have customer service experience, and are you seeking a new job in Portishead near Bristol? Deerfoot IT Recruitment is helping a managed service provider recruit a 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer, and the role comes with an attractive salary of £35k.

You will operate Monday to Friday 37.5 hour working week, with a shift pattern in place between the hours of 7.30am to 7.30pm. There may be some requirement for overtime so flexibility on working hours will be required.

As a 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer, you will provide reactive and proactive customer support. You will provide the customer with responses and first-time fixes, as well as escalations on any incident tickets raised and be focused on resolving requests withinthe resolve SLAs.

In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to:

- Use the Incident Management and Request Fulfilment processes, in line with Technical Support objectives
- Accept escalations from 1st-line support
- Provide excellent customer service providing proactive, reactive and service management to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through advice, guidance and technical support
- Proactively assist with recommendations and delivery of new managed services to customers to increase customer satisfaction.
- Experience working in a high availability environment, working on live systems where reliability, uptime and meeting SLAs are crucial
- Proven customer-centric IT service delivery experience
- Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills
- Extensive experience supporting and administrating M365/O365 cloud services.
