As the company continues to grow, we are looking for a Transport Operator to enhance our team, who will possess the same level of ambition, drive and determination to succeed.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Planning and routing a traffic sheet to maximise profitability on vehicles
- Dealing with drivers on a daily basis
- Dealing with subcontractors on a daily basis
- Dealing with customers on a daily basis
- Communicating with ports on a daily basis
- Booking Vehicle Booking Slots for entry into UK ports
- Using a Transport Management System
- Communicating with drivers for ETA’s and making sure they are on time
- Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system
- Previous experience as a Transport Operator, but not essential
- Confident and clear communicator - written and verbal
- Must be happy to do on call as part of a team
- Excellent UK geographical knowledge
- Can work on own initiative
- Quick and efficient problem solving skills
- Organised at all times
- Flexibility to meet the demands of the business
