Yard Supervisor

The company transform domestic and commercial waste and recyclables into high quality raw materials and renewable energy which is making a big contribution to improving the UK's resource efficiency. Due to a rapid period of growth they are now looking to grow the team and have created a position for a Yard Supervisor to join.
**Responsibilities**
- To provide hands on leadership to ensure the safe, timely and efficient import / export of material to and from site
- Lead a positive improvement in traffic control, procedure adherence and general yard housekeeping.
- Supervising 4 - 5 operatives per shift whilst still being hands on
- Reporting in to the Production Manager

**Requirements**:

- Supervisory experience is essential
- Must have come from a manufacturing, industrial or warehouse environment
- FLT license desirable

**Hours**
- Monday - Friday (days)

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Avonmouth, Bristol: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Machine Operators: 1 year (preferred)
