TSR Legal are proud to be working with an international commercial firm with a strong heritage in insurance, health and real estate. The firm represent a wide range of clients, ranging from household names to government departments and NHS bodies.
The Regulatory Team are specialists in Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) work. With over 30 specialist lawyers across a number of key locations, there is now a new opportunity for an additional Solicitor to join them due to client and case demands.
The work includes advising insurers and corporate clients in relation to investigations and prosecutions by a wide range of regulators including the Police, Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency, CQC and Local Authorities. The team handles allaspects of advice and defence. They have a busy practice instructed in a number of high-profile investigations and in cases involving a range of health and safety, fire and other regulatory breaches.
The diverse range of clients provides top-quality instructions and a varied and sustainable pipeline of work. The team are empowered to develop their own client contacts and relationships from the start of their careers; you will see how your contributiondirectly impacts on your clients and understand how the service you provide helps them.
The team are very busy and work hard, but offer genuine flexibility to allow you to meet your personal and work commitments - and that flexibility hasn't disappeared post-Covid
- Experienced Solicitor with 2 + years post qualification experience gained within a regulatory and / or commercially focused environment
- You will have experience of business development, building client relationships and client relationship management
- You will have experience of advising on regulatory work including - health and safety incident investigations, interviews under caution, prosecutions, environmental breaches, breaches of trading standards, food law and/or fire safety
- Ideally you will have experience of advising and representing organisations in relation to environmental matters both contentious and non-contentious
- Excellent legal drafting, analytical and negotiating skills
