EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
The EA will provide PA and business support to the CEO of a challenger bank and support activities related to the Executive Office.
This is an exciting and diverse role with core responsibilities including diary management, supporting internal communications, project planning and meeting/event planning.
No one day will be the same and as such flexibility, resilience and experience in resolving challenging situations are important. This is a role which has considerable scope to assume additional duties, including internal communications and project co-ordination.

**Responsibilities**:

- Active diary management. This role will be the first point of contact for the CEO and therefore it is important that attention to detail, sound judgment and appropriate time is assigned
- Regularly liaising with the leadership team across the business and external stakeholders (e.g. investors, regulators, business development)
- Supporting internal communications (e.g. drafting of periodic CEO Blog which is circulated to all group staff), and external communications (e.g. periodic updates to Shareholders)
- Supporting meetings of the Executive Committee (logistics, prepare packs, posting on Board portal, minuting); additional support is provided (where required by the Assistant to the Deputy CEO)
- Working in partnership with the Assistant Company Secretary, including some monitoring of the CoSec inbox and updating CoSec diary; this involves liaison with other Board members and requires an understanding of risk/governance
- Attending Weekly senior leadership meetings and progressing actions, as required
- Mobilising and tracking actions from ExCo and weekly senior leadership meetings as required
- Preparing a variety of documents (e.g. updating business development log, action tracker, balance scorecard) using standard formats
- Drafting regular communications on behalf of the CEO; prioritise, acknowledge and distribute correspondence
- Undertaking ad-hoc projects involving appropriate research and planning, organisation of resources and tracking of deliverables and actions
- Assisting the CEO monitor initiatives and deliverables due from other members of the Executive team
- Administrative support for the CEO including inbox management, expense processing, and travel/accommodation arrangements (these tasks represent a relatively limited amount of time)
Skill required:

- Previous experience providing proactive and effective support to a C-level Executive
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
- Gravitas and the ability to deal with senior stakeholders
- Ability to handle diary management, logístical and administrative details independently whilst exercising good judgement and keeping stakeholders adequately informed in real time
- Confident and warm personality when working with people at all levels and eager to get stuck in
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint, Zoom/Teams
- Board Intelligence (training will be provided if necessary)
- Ability to work under pressure and act on own initiative
- Aptitude for learning
- Attention to detail
- Experience in working for a digital bank
