**Head of Product**

**Head of Product - What will I be doing?**

You will lead and inspire a team of Product and Programme Managers, who create worldwide adventures, to ensure that the trips being offered are not only bespoke and provide the trip of a life time, but that they deliver the Company's strategic vision andevolve the customer experience. The role offers variety and is responsible for:

- Leadership management and development of the team
- Providing focus, direction and feedback for the team and be responsible overall team deliverables
- Managing and monitoring personal development plans and improvement strategies
- Working with Business Intelligence to ensure the Company has the right product on sale at the right price to deliver the right margin
- Complex contract negotiations with overseas suppliers
- Putting together product launches and managing training trips for the teams
- Drive process improvements and improve efficiency

**Head of Product - What experience do I need?**
- You will be an influencer and a credible sounding board for commercial decisions across the business
- With a passion for travel, you will bring your knowledge and expertise within the small group adventure market as well as energy and an innovative approach
- Curiosity, ambition and change management experience; you'll also be someone who can objectively and respectfully challenge
- Excellent presentation skills as you will be presenting product plans to the wider teams and Company, on a monthly basis

**Head of Product - What else do I need to know?**
This position requires a dedicated leader who embraces diverse thinking and is not only a diplomat but an ambassador for the business, an excellent negotiator and who, most importantly, gets things done. The role is as challenging as it is rewarding and canchange at any time from business as usual, innovation and team development to crisis management.
