**Operations Manager**

**Are you an Operation Manager at the top of your game?**

**Do you have experience managing multiple sites in a fast-paced FMCG environment?**

MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading **FMCG**brand on the search for an **Operations Manager.**This is a **permanent**role based in **Hampshire.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify and implement operations strategy, incorporating best practice from within the organisation
- Identify and set strategic performance targets and improvement plans for:

- Efficiency (Production Efficiency/ Operating Efficiency/ Overall Equipment Efficiency) Waste Labour, Standards and GMP
- Lead a team of Managers and hold teams accountable to deliver the site operations KPI’s
- Provide opportunities for the development of the manufacturing teams by developing and coaching direct reports using the Performance Development Review process and regular 1-1’s
- Ensure that all manufacturing operations remain safe to colleagues, contractors, and the environment
- Drive Right First Time/Root Cause culture and operations elements of the site Quality Plan
- Establish and drive a continuous improvement culture across all areas of manufacturing
- Drive a training programme across the operator group to increase capability and flexibility
- Achieve customer service targets within budget constraints
- Implement waste and cost reduction plan
- Control Indirect and Direct cost budgets
- Maintain open and constructive channel with site Union Representatives
- Create an engaging environment where the team are energised to realise their full potential which always challenge the status quo but work internally and externally to the site mutual benefit
- Ensure that the facility, processes, and products achieve global regulatory standards
- Provide a continuous pipeline of High Potential talent through ongoing development

**What are we looking for?**
- Graduate with at least 5 years’ leadership experience within a technical/engineering/manufacturing discipline
- At least 3 years of experience of leading Continuous Improvement Implementation, with hands on experience of using CI toolkit in a manufacturing environment
- Experience of successfully implementing operator training programmes
- Strong understanding of Autonomous Maintenance Pillars is desirable
- Experience of driving a Performance Culture based around accountability and delivery
- Excellent overview of supply chain issues, including incoming and outgoing logistics
- Project management skills
- Ideally experience in a Regulatory environment

Salary up to **£80K** + benefits and bonus depending on experience
