Our client is looking for a **Sales Project Engineer** to join them.

As the**Sales Project Engineer** you will be responsible for **technical and commercially robust proposals for the supply of automation systems primarily for the UK Automotive Industry.** Commercial negotiation with customers to secure orders. To Build strong working relationship with sales, project and operationsteams to ensure efficient handling of all enquiries. Management and control of special purpose projects and machine modifications to achieve completion on time and within budget to the satisfaction of the customer.

As the **Sales Project Engineer you will be based Role is based at Felbridge** with extensive travel to customer sites including overnight stays and prolonged absence from the base site. The standard hours are **37.5 hours per week**, although they will need to be flexible according to the demands on the customer. Annual leave entitlement of 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.
- Technical Competencies include:_
**- Degree qualified (or equivalent)**in a relevant technical discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering etc.)
- Excellent project management skills. Able to understand and produce high-level project plans
- Good understanding of **mechanical, Electrical, Robotic and/or pneumatic systems particularly in Automotive industry**
- Knowledge of bespoke design ideally in **Powertrain environment**
- Competent in MS office with intermediate excel skills
