A Spanish speaking Accountant is required by our client, a leading World class Distributor of Ingredients based in London. This will be a hands-on position where there will be a lot of learning in addition to completing Finance tasks. English and Spanishfluency is necessary for the role. The role will include the following activities:
**Daily Tasks**:
- Allocate bank transactions to Spain
- Release Spanish overdue or over limit sales invoice
- Update cash collections report
**Weekly Tasks**:
- Submit approval for new credit limit or new payment terms or new client for Spanish office
- Submit for release approval all overdue sales invoices without payment date confirmation from the client
- prepare to submit for payment and e-file all Spanish expense claims and vendor invoices except purchases inventory
- Extract reports from the ERP system and send every 3 days all sales invoices and received invoices from vendors to local accountants - SII reporting
**Monthly Tasks**:
- Issue rental car sales invoice with VAT to employees who drive company’s cars
- Review and Issue inter-company sales invoices every time that it is posted under Spain with only one line and invoice that it is not addressed to the Invoice
- Once soft cost is done compare final value inter-company Spanish purchase to the European office and report changes to Fueber who will report to Spanish tax authorities.
- Posting Payroll, accruals, prepayments, forex, journals for Spain SLU
- Reconciliation of main balance sheet code accounts of Spain Submit Direct Debit file to the bank for incoming payments for Spanish clients
- Submit directly to Spanish Tax website VAT (Modelo 303 and 349) reports from March 19 to October 1
- Time sheet record hours for Spanish Employee
- Report non UE Invoices with DUA and import tax certificate
