We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to work for this high quality British manufacturing business based in Knaresborough. They are the UK leader in their market, who pride themselves on their British heritage and ability to continue to producehigh quality products in the UK.

As Accounts Assistant you will report directly to the Finance Manager. The main purpose of your role is to manage the day to day finance function within the business. You will ideally have previous accounts and credit control experience and have the eligibilityto work in the UK.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the Accounts Manager with day to day accounts
- Processing sales invoices and customer receipts
- Processing purchase ledger invoices
- Reconciling supplier monthly statements
- Preparing weekly payment run reports
- Bank reconciliation
- Credit card reconciliations
- Credit control

Required:

- Previous accounts and/or credit control background
- Good administration and IT skills
- Keen and enthusiastic
- Team player attitude
- Good time management skills
- Experience using Sage preferred
- Eligibility to work in the UK

Do not delay as we are looking to recruit immediately for this Accounts Assistant position. Interviews are being held week commencing 7th February. You will receive a competitive salary between £25,000-£26,000. There is free parking.
