This role is positioned within Partner Services, a corporate vertical sales team targeting managed service providers, resellers and independent software vendors. The team is undergoing an exciting expansion and as part of this we are looking to recruit aMicrosoft Indirect Specialist to sit within the team for the first time.
Microsoft represents a key vendor within the Partner Services portfolio, as the team's channel development specialist you will be integral to the continued success of the sales team. You will actively provide licensing and commercial guidance in our Microsoftsales engagements, form close working relationships with our wider Microsoft team to enable the sales team and operate as the go-to expert for everyone in the team.

**Partner with the best**
We are looking for someone to help recruit existing and new partners into our Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP) Indirect Channel. This will involve working as a core part of the Partner Services team to recruit and onboard new partners into the Microsoft CSPIndirect program.
You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving Softcat's relationship with Microsoft as an indirect CSP provider as well as working closely with the wider Softcat Microsoft team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple teamswithin Softcat whilst building and nurturing contacts within Softcat's largest vendor.
As a Microsoft Indirect Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Working with Resellers to develop a Business Plan which includes sales and technical enablementthat will support their evolution into a true Services led organisation
- Assisting in the future growth, marketing and development of Softcat's CSP Indirect Program
- Working alongside Account Managers to build and execute targeted campaigns with a view to increasing Softcat's CSP Indirect Revenue
- Supporting with the creation and adoption of a best-in-class onboarding experience/framework for Indirect Resellers and ISVs alike
- Focusing on transforming existing Reseller base into CSP Resellers and support with the recruitment of new Resellers
**What we need from you**
- An enthusiastic, can-do attitude is essential
- Experience of customer meetings and confident presentation skills
- Ability to work independantly and manage your own workload
- Experience of working within the IT Reseller or Distribution market or experience of Microsoft's CSP Program and wider Partner Program is desirable
- Self motivation to maintain knowledge of the Microsoft CSP Program and keep up to date with other key changes on a regular basis
