HTA Design LLP is an award winning multi-disciplinary design partnership of specialist teams working collaboratively in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Communications, Sustainability and Planning.
Our busy architectural design studio in **Bristol** is looking for a talented and ambitious second year Part I Architectural Assistant to work with our interdisciplinary teams during the 6 week summer period. The Architectural Assistant will report to a Partner and/or Project Lead on project administration and duties and will be responsible for completing packages of work allocated by the project lead and achieving required quality standards in accordance with the Project Plan and objectives
- Some experience of working within a UK based architectural practice is desirable but not essential.
- A well-presented portfolio of work consisting of projects completed during study and/or work placements.
- A keen interest in housing design, and a knowledge of UK design standards and statutory requirements.
- Proven commitment to high performance and dedicated to own learning and development.
- Good awareness of design trends and creative thinking.
- Good design, technical and presentation skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact comfortably with people at all levels.
- Self-motivated and confident to take responsibility and to manage own time and workload, establishing priorities and working to deadlines under pressure.
- A flexible, logical and practical approach to work.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and good problem solving skills.
- A can-do attitude and commitment to own self development.
- Reliable with good timekeeping.
- Good general IT and office administration skills.
