We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a playful young boy who lives with his family in West Bromwich. He requires support throughout the day with his complex care needs on a 1:1 basis.

He is full of joy and has a heart full of love, especially when it comes to playtime He loves playing with his toys, enjoys outdoor activities, and adores interactive games. You'll be part of a loving family who values your contribution and can make a meaningful difference in a young boy's life

He thoroughly enjoys exploring various sensory experiences and messy play, including sand, mud, foam, paint, and exploring both light up and musical toys.

During term time, your role will be to support him with his morning routine and accompanying him to his educational setting. You will assist him with his personal care, moving and handling, making close clinical observations and attending to his care needs when required.

You will assist him by engaging in his learning and development through play and support with social interaction with his peers, making a positive impact with his educational journey.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following**:

- 3 months previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Seizure Management

**Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role**:

- Scoliosis Awareness
- PEG Feeding

**We have the following shifts available**
- Part Time Days
- 3 shifts per week
- 8am - 4pm
- Term Time Only

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (£104 approx. per 8-hour shift)

Bank Holidays: £16.00 per hour (£128 approx. per 8-hour shift)
