Key Account Coordinator

As part of the Operations and Customer Services Teams the role will undertake Key Account responsibility for developing long term commercial relationship with Menzies Distribution Limited and any of its subsidiary companies.
The KAC will be required to interact with primary contacts and stakeholders in the assigned customer(s), develop the commercial and operational relationships with MTG and coordinate all of the various internal partners within MTG to satisfy the service requirement of the key accounts and ultimately produce volume growth for MTG.
This role will be Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30
Key Result Areas/Tasks and Activities (in no particular order)
- Responsible for developing long term commercial relationships with the assigned customer(s), building working relationships with key stakeholders in assigned account(s)
- Liaise between customer(s) and internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met
- Operate as a lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to assigned customer(s) developing trust and reliability
- Work closely with the Sales Team to ensure open channel of communication and understanding in respect of commercial opportunities
- Develop volume growth within Menzies Distribution Limited and any of its subsidiary companies
- Motivate others within MTG to achieve business objectives for Menzies Distribution Limited in line with the generic business strategy of volume growth in key accounts
- Input and monitor all Carrington bookings from data input to completed deliveries
- Track all MTG vehicles completing Carrington collections / deliveries
- Monitor and report ETA’s on all Carrington collections
- Compete daily / weekly failure reports for all Carrington deliveries
- Responsible for all Customs / export paperwork for all Carrington collections and deliveries completed by MTG
- Complete KPI reports on a daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly basis
- Booking in deliveries if not provided by Bibby Distribution Limited
- Develop and promote Manpack Online as a value added solution to Bibby Distribution Limited
- Demonstrate control and be able to make decisions under pressure in conjunction with transport operations and customer services
- Prepare reports on Menzies Distribution Limited and any of its subsidiary companies to MTG

- Experience in delivering client based solutions based on customer needs
- Solid understanding of Irish Sea transport solutions
- Ability to identify, capture and promote inter-company synergies in the development of key accounts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven relevant experience preferably in a logistic environment
- IT Skills (Excel, Access and Word or the like)
- Presentation Skills
- Good solid communicator
- Flexible approach to work and working times
