Our client are specialists in UK & International Pallet Moves as well as Warehousing & Storage facilities. Due to continued growth and development, they are now seeking a skilled and proven Transport Manager to work alongside senior management in the overallgrowth and development of their expanding transport division.
**Transport Manager Position Overview**
Within this role you will work closely with the company directors to oversee, track and monitor transport related KPI's, budget and processes.
You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operation and running of the transport division. You will manage drivers, planners and transport admin staff so proven ability of leading from the front in a transport role is essential.
You will also work closely with the operations director on running the company O'Licence and fleet / driver compliance. You will work to DVSA & FORS regulations so previous experience in these fields is highly desirable.
**Transport Manager Position Requirements**
- Class 1 HGV Licence - Highly Desirable
- CPC Qualification (a distinct advantage)
- IOSH / NEBOSH Certification is an advantage
- Experience within Transport Compliance
- A proven track record of planning and managing pallet network & groupage
- Excellent people management skills
- Ability to mentor, engage and drive team performance
**Transport Manager Position Remuneration**
- Monday - Friday 07:00 - 17:00
- Salary DOE - £35-40k
