Supporting organisations to decarbonise on the journey to Net Zero we have helped clients secure
- £23.5 million of approved grants for Phase 1 of the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS).
- £483,000 from Round 1 of the Low Carbon Skills Fund (LCSF).
- £1.03 million of approved grants for Phase 2 of the PSDS scheme.

We are currently delivering over 60 Heat Decarbonisation Plans for public sector clients.

This role will focus on winning new business opportunities from Schools and Multi Academy Trusts through growing, understanding and supporting the networks within your territory area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your knowledge of a broad spectrum of services from the market leaders, including procurement of energy and water contracts, along with our suite of technical services such as our Net Zero product line including Energy Auditing, strategic site Decarbonisaton plans, Renewable energy feasibility, EV charging points, and various compliance products such as SECR, ESOS, DEC’s, EPC’s and TM44 Air conditioning reporting.

The opportunity can be based in the North-East, or London/ North of London, the role is home based with expectation to be able to travel within your territory and collaborate with the team face to face periodically.

**Position**:**
Key deliverables**:

- To become embedded within education networks and understand/ develop key stakeholder relationships through being honest, knowledgeable, trustworthy and reliable.
- Represent Zenergi and proactively promote our services with a thorough understanding of the benefits to the customer
- Building a comprehensive territory plan / strategic sales approach.
- Development of marketing campaigns and publicity to support your territory plan, whilst upholding the integrity and key values of the business.
- Day to day management of a centralised pipeline for recording prospect values, progress within our CRM system.
- Achievement of New Business Sales target and standard expectations relating to supporting administration relevant to the sale recorded in our CRM system.
- Attend and participate on webinars, industry conferences, group meetings, and any other events which are aligned with our target markets.
- Relationship building with new and existing customers including site visits, working in conjunction with our Customer Relationship Managers for existing customers.
- Supporting the energy supply contract procurement process through undertaking tender requests, analysis, contract production and negotiation with customers including related administration.
- Negotiation with suppliers to ensure best value for the customer.
- You may be responsible for a small portfolio of renewal business with upsell opportunity in addition to New Business activities
- Provide backup for fellow Account Manager’s when required (sick leave, annual holidays etc.)

**Requirements**:**
Requirements - experience**:

- Experience managing a portfolio of business/ building territory plans/ managing pipelines and driving new business sales.
- Technical understanding of both Gas and Electricity supply industry would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be given in order to deliver our high level of Customer Service.
- Experience of working within the education sector would be an advantage.
- Demonstratable experience of achieving sales targets
- Sage CRM
- Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook

- Home based, but with extensive travel for conferences and site visits, including overnight stays
- Office opening hours of 8.30am-5.30pm
