**HR Advisor - Facilities Maintenance**

**Remote Based - covering West Midlands & Wales**

**6 Month Fixed term contract with potential to go perm / £33-£35k**

Here at Howells we are working with a leading Facilities Maintenance provider to recruit an experienced, and pro-active HR Advisor to join their team. This is a remote role, working within the Midlands & North team. You will be covering the West Midlandsand Wales region, and some site travel is to be accepted. Travel is very mínimal currently, however this could increase when covid restrictions change.

This role would suit somebody who is early into their HR Advisor career, and is keen to be involved in many aspects of HR to build experience on their route to Senior HR Advisor / BP level. As the HR Advisor, you will be repsonsible for all manager guidanceand ER management within your region.

Other duties may include:

- Long term/short term sickness management and action plans
- Build partnerships Senior Managers
- HR Initiatives/projects to drive branch performance and maximise productivity
- Union negotiations and pay negotiations
- Capability and coaching
- Major terms and conditions changes
- Support on resource management
- Drive transforming work force action plan
- Conflict resolution
- Retention planning
- Redundancy consultations - end to end ownership
- Be a support for key roles interviews
- Structural reviews
- Support branches with gross misconduct and grievance hearings
- Deliver HR training
- Be the knowledge expert on HR issues providing business focused, risk balanced advise.
- Provide monthly statistics and information for the board report.
