Loss Prevention Officer

We have over 650 talented individuals working across our sites in Trowbridge and Frome - including a state-of-the-art laboratory and 78,000 square foot ever-growing manufacturing site

We are now searching for positive and pro-active Loss Prevention Officers to join our fast-paced Loss Prevention Team at our Frome site on a full-time basis.
- Working hours**:12 hours shifts 8am-8pm & 8pm-8am on a 4 on 4 off basis.**
Salary**:£25,771.20 pa**

**Responsibilities**

You will be responsible for the maintenance of a data driven strategy to reduce and maintain losses
- Liaising with the Police, Fire Service, and other agencies in an emergency and on all issues affecting security, including high profile visits and events of all types which have a potential to create security concerns.
- Ensure all necessary property inspections have been carried out and security equipment is in serviceable condition.
- Draw to the attention of the Lost Preventive Specialist or in their absence the Facilities Manager any issues, incidents, and exceptional matters as appropriate.
- Ensuring procedures are adhered to for the secure control of all Master keys.
- Ensure all fire alarm activations are responded to appropriately in accordance with A&A procedures.
- Ensure safe release of passengers stuck in a lift due to break down, through call out of the Lift Engineer.
- Act in the role of First Aider and Fire Warden.
**Requirements**:

- Have a result driven approach, providing assurance that loss/shrinkage within the site is minimised in line with business standards.
- Build good relationships across the business and supporting with 3rd party supplier management.
- Take a pro-active approach in the investigation and resolution of security incidents.
- Be self-aware, continuously reviewing performance and ability, seeking additional ways to improve.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge and use of technology to support in all areas of responsibilities.
- Acts as a role model for the Security & Loss Prevention department, demonstrating the company’s core values, behaviours, and competencies.
