**About the Role**: The Area Sales Representative (Business to Business - B2B) develops sales of products direct to customers in conjunction with marketing and business development plans using both internal and external resources, managing allphases from initial contact through concept design and order.

You will be working in a supportive team and be part of a global materials handling market leader. The Area Sales Representative will be responsible for the prompt follow up of sales leads, finding new opportunities and establishing a project pipeline to support the business plan. The Area Sales Representative is responsible for order intake, sales revenue& maintaining existing account relationships. You will be preparing sales proposals and presenting in a professional manner. You will report area activity to the Field Sales Manager and will ensure increasing market share at a profitable level within the salesarea.

**Requirements**: Previous successful sales experience within the engineering, automation, materials handling or associated industries, with a track record of direct B2B selling. You should have confidence when dealing with customers at alllevels and an ability to work within defined timescales. You should be pro-active, results orientated with a willingness to learn and possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
